It's Christmas Eve

Well it's finally here, Christmas Eve it's been a long time coming.

I'm writing this while having a latte in Starbucks. Booo Starbucks I here you all say lol, but hey ho.

Well I'm here because we have a little family tradition where we get up early head on into town and have a breakfast at k d weatherspoons and then have a wander round town, before heading home to the pub where we have a few Xmas drinks. Woop woop.

This time I dropped the kids and me Julie at the cinema as well so as I could nip to the shops and get her last Xmas presents. Mejulie had a hard year too much to ever go Into detail, but she deserves so much love and presents because she is simply the best. The best mum a kid could have and the best wife a hubby could wish for, and I just wish her a very happy relaxed Xmas and definantly a better year next year.

And maybe some people will treat her how she treats them because if anyone needs help she is always there to help and it not always returned.

Xmas just gets weirder, and going back to our little tradition of breakfast Xmas eve it's not much bit it's ours we have no parents or grand parents to turn to or go to at Xmas so we make our own traditions 

Well I'll raise my glass to you all merry xmas everyone but remember mejulie is for life not just for Xmas be a friend to her all year and not just when you want to lay your troubles at her door

Sunday so far

Well after a lengthy lay I this morning I dragged my bones outta bed, and basically staggered down stairs.

No seriously that's what I did, and when down stairs, I sat on the sofa.

 It then I sprang to life dished out a few jobs to the oys definatly time they started doing some more work around the house, and Orkun only moans twice although he did manage to have a sleep where is eyes we not working pmsl.

And Luke only moaned twice but did get a days grounding.

Well I sorted the filing cabinet out and put some shelves up for the telephone and the router well one of the routers I posh I have two lol

Now after the hoovering done by mejulie I chilling on sofa where it all began and me Julie sitting at table eating twiglets eeeeew twiglets there gross

A Christmas is a coming

Well,it's starting to feel a lot like Christmas, whoop whoop and boy do we need it it's been a long slog the last week week, what with kids having there pre Xmas moan and kick off lol.

But seriously the older they get the worse they get lol. 

Me Julie been getting the brunt of it unfortunately cause I leave the house early to got work, but she's a great mom and handles it easily in here stride, love you babe can I have new MacBook Air for xmas lol. Think that'll be a no, but that brings me onto Xmas present for mejulie, no hints from her to speak of and I got ideas but let's be honest, I get it wrong, and Xmas day will be ruined, you know lads the cold shoulder the death stare ha ha we know you ladies well, I usually find mejulies prezzie jumps straight to my mind but this year my mind just blank.

Still work be good, once again been out and about into the deepest parts of North Norfolk,and believe me I never knew so many one track lanes existed.

My bulb went on car this week as well, went to halfords cause tv advert said they the experts, lad took on look at car and said this is bulb you need, I said you sure, he said yes, quick trip back to work half a  mile away and proceed to fit new bulb, guess what, yes it was the wrong bulb, so had to borrow work van to take it back to the experts at halfords, to get the right one.

Then back to work where thank you Charlie for fitting it before it went dark, and thank you to the experts at halfords who cost me half an hour, and but my blood pressure up, thank you for being experts in getting the bulb wrong for one of the most common cars on the road .

JWell after a hard day decorating the bedroom is nearing completion we had a bit of a laugh with Orkun and me Julie and later on with tony who came over to help with the picture wallpaper for the feature wall thank you tony

A trip to naaarwich (Norwich)

Well after the body shop party last night, we had a sleep in, well it was nearly two am when we got to bed.

So we got up and shipped Luke and his girlfriend off and we headed into Norwich, with mejulie and Orkun. We had a prebooked appointment for mejulie at the apple store, headphone had developed a wifi problem ie it would not let you turn the wifi on at all, but true to apples great customer service they swapped it over straight away.

Then we headed down the Main Street near the market, Orkun tried a hat on buffo think he like it, after all it was chosen by mummy lol heck the picture below.

Hahaha love it but Orkun didn't.

The took me Julie into primark and bought her some fleece pyjamas lol.

And I must say it was nice to see the Christmas lights going up in Norwich and here's a little reminder it's not long till Christmas.

And me Julie like her fleece pyjamas so much we went sainsbury's and she wore it there lol she got a few funny looks.

In the apple store happy days

Well we in the apple store in chapel fields norwich after a walk round town with mejulie n Orkun now sitting down in apple waiting to ask a couple of questions

A body shop party, alcohol and a load of woman no good can come of this

Well it was Friday 8th November and the day of me Julie's body shop party had finally arrived, so after we had bothe been to work, we got home and, set about getting the food out, and the alcohol out.

And then the door bell rang, and the first of fifteen guests started to arrive, one by one some I new some I didn't.

Well the body shop party was good the woman all seemed to like sniffing, spraying rubbing in all manner of concoctions of beauty treatments and perfumes.

The look on there faces talk about attentive listeners lol no one gets in between a woman and a  talk about beauty treatments.

While all this was going on the alcohol was going down a treat.

Which was funny it's amazing how woman can start an evening all polite but after about two bottles of wine the language becomes worse than on a building site .

Big well done to me Julie for organising such a great night love you babe so much.

Wet and windy

Well what a horrible wet and windy day in North Norfolk, and apart from the weather I had a good day driving round the deepest darkest parts of Norfolk and along the coast visiting some customers and doing a few deliveries, and I must say that despite the weather people have been cheery and happy.

I ended up in the village of wiveton which is a lovely little village on the North Norfolk coast, I must take more pictures of the places I go as some of the villages round here are beautiful even if access to them is down one track lanes

As you can see some of these villages are stunning, and since starting this new job I'm not so much office based and I get the chance to get out and meet people, which is fab this was the only part of day which wasn't wet 

Well once I came home mejulie made a lovely jumbo hotdog and hula hoop fries mmmmm nice

Now I all snuggled up in bed with mejulie watching coronation street, yes it is still on after 40 odd years on tv and although I would say its crap it's not as crap as Eastenders. But you know us British we like our tv soaps.

It's not that I don't like soaps just which there were not so many of them, Coronation street, Eastenders , Hollyoaks, emmerdale, Holby City

Other bits luke still loved up got his Hannah round for tea tonight aaawwwwww young love (vomit)

And I don't think kitties enjoying this weather Rusty2 hasn't moved off filing cabinet except to go for wee breaks lol

What a day phew

Well what a day woke up, and unfortunately it was Monday morning, booo does anyone else feel like that.lol

Got up and had mini weetabix  for brekkie, really do like them, it's weird cause I not a fan of normal size weetabix, but mini weetabix ooooh yeah love them.

After that went to work lovely drive into cromer, sun was out and the view down to the coast from top of cromer was great, I view I don't think I could ever get bored of, I'll have to take a pic.

Work was good quite a few deliveries,it's really good driving round all the little villages of north norfolk, there is some really beautiful houses and barns around. 

After work took the drive home but this time it was in the dark, because the clocks went back, last week one hour.its a British thing, back in the autumn forward in the spring.

Now it's a simple case of just chillin, my foots still hurting so puttin me foot up and a snuggle with me Julie is what is required.

And is it just me or is everyone else bored of the Christmas tv ads already.

And oh crap mejulie just turned over to bbc ready for Eastenders

Sunday a day of doing not a lot

Well after a trip to cromer on thenorthnorfolk coast where we did our shopping, we came home and all I did was put a blind up in our bathroom.

I then put the xbox on and had a go at the walking dead, must say the graphics are amazing and it follows the series really well all in all not a ad game but a tad hard lol.

Now snuggled up in bed with mejulie and a Horliks mmm winter hot drinks now it turning cold and in the wind it's bitter.

It must be cold because rusty2 our oldest kitty has not been out most of the day see pic below

Sunday morning, after a stormy rainy night kept waking me up. So as I'm awake a little blog post is called for.

Well setting the scene I in bed with the sun steaming through the gaps in the curtains so I guess the storm has passed and me Julie is cuddling into me so as you can guess Im not getting outta bed yet.

But when I do get up its food shopping time in cromer, which is nine miles away and right on the coast. I wonder if ill win the "I can see the sea" competition I usually do but orkuns getting a bit quick now. Little does he know I practice every day on the way to work its funny I always win ( it might have something to do with the fact I'm the only one in the car

A bang goes the fireworks

Well after a long hard week at work I dashed home from cromer and picked up the kids and mejulie, and off we went to the lighthouse inn on the coast at walcot for the bonfire night fireworks, it's the third time we been there, and we have always had a good time there.

The entry is 20 pounds or 15 if you get your ticket in advance.

When we arrived we made our way straight to the hog roast,mmmm hog roast love them, and after the kids firework display we were treated to a fire breathing dance from three woman dressed in skeleton outfits it wasn't bad but I think they need to improve there dancing moves.

And then the main fire works began, all to the music of the dam busters from the 617 squadron and we weren't disappointed, the show is always very good, see pictures and possibly a video.

All in all agood night, cheep with ample parking and a hog roast what more could you want lol

Pies, rabbits and tired kitties

Well what a week, it was a short week because of the bank holiday Monday but shit the week dragged. But on a plus note the weather starting to change the mornings are crisper and clear a winter is a coming woop woop.

Mejulie made a lovely apple crumble pie it was lush babe thank you made with freshly picked apples.

The rabbits are still running round the garden I think though they can sense autumn sneaking up

Well part from Orkun not being here for the week it's been uneventful of shopping to stalham in a bit and maybe a mooch round lathams might even sneak a walk along the Norfolk broads if do will

Flixton Air Museum

Had a fab day with the family and sister in law and her fiancée tony out in the sticks at Flixton air museum.

Never been but a friend from work, does the music there and dresses in character, and he very accurate good to see ya mr g

Well it's a bit hard to explain, about the place but its there to help keep the memory alive of all the airman and military personnel who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, so if you down that way have a look its worth half a day.
